My friend and compatriot Marcus Chamat invited me to come and play Pool in Sweden. At the World Games we had practised a lot of nine-ball between our matches. (No carom tables in Kaohsiung!). Of course I said Yes.

At the nine-ball event I lost 11-10 to Thomas Larsson (SWE) just before the knock-out stages but it was the ten-ball that I wanted to win. I managed to perform well in two matches but then lost the semi final somewhat disappointingly 8-5. The break-shot didn’t work. Nice excuse, isn’t it? To be honest I was happy with the first two matches and glad that I could make many balls on the break and many nice combinations. I hope I get one more chance. Thanks to Marcus for the great organization and to Raj Hundal for all the fun.
